PBI Desktop incorrectly assuming access to existing model

Hi all,

A client of ours is reporting this issue on mutiple workstations, since the October update.

They have a central model, that feeds 4 - 5 other reports.

If they have more than one of the satellite reports open, PowerBI will give the error below:

All users reporting this error ofcourse do infact have access and the feature is not disabled.

According to the user, the only fix is: "..to shut down anything from PBI I really don’t need and then it re-opens without issues."

Although restarting does help, this is annoyting from a workflow perspective.

Any ideas on how to prevent?
