Text is always aligned to the right and report-users would like left aligned for better readability. Is there is reason for current behavior.
Is it possible adding buttons to choose way of alignement or at least default left aligned ?
Workaround is possible via tooltip-page but should not be necessary with simple text.......

Hi,
What can i say about the solution.....it is still a workaround that can solve the issue but i would be happier if the solution (left align as default...) would be build in in stead of using workaround. I hope you understand.
I will accept my own solution to close the issue.... 😁

Hi @WillemM,
Thank you for your feedback, you’re correct that left alignment is typically more natural and improves readability. Currently, the Help tooltip under Header icons is a fixed UI element, and its formatting, including right alignment, can't be changed. This is intentional for simplicity and consistency, but it does limit flexibility.
Your suggestion to use left alignment or add alignment options is valid and aligns with usability standards, but customization isn’t available at this time.
For now, we recommend using the report tooltip workaround for more control, and consider submitting or upvoting this idea in the Power BI Ideas forum to help influence future updates.

Hi,
As i already wrote the workaround with a separate tooltip does the job but i hope you can adjust the default outline to left-align as this is the default for most of the world-users......
Thank you.
Hi @WillemM,
Thank you @InsightsByV, your response is accurate, this is a current limitation in Power BI.
For more context, the Help tooltip (type: text) under Header icons is a simple UI element and doesn’t offer advanced formatting options such as alignment, styling, or spacing. The right alignment is fixed and cannot be changed right now.
If you want alternatives that don’t involve the tooltip page solution, you might try:
Using an info icon/button with a tooltip page or overlay for full formatting control
Adding a transparent shape with a report tooltip instead of the header tooltip
These methods offer more flexibility, especially for readability.
Your expectation for left alignment is reasonable, but currently, there’s no direct way to adjust it, and the existing workaround is the best solution.
Thank you

Hi, there's a limitation to do such customizations. The only practical solution is the one you shared - creating report page tooltip. Wish, such customizations will be availvble in future updates, it's an intersting one!
The idea is already raised there:
