Oracle | Gateway | Direct Query | Report couldn't access data source | no permission

Hello Community,

I couldn't find anything regarding to my issue:

I've created a report which uses DirectQuery to connect to an Oracle database with Power BI Desktop. So far, so good. After publishing the report to the service and creating the appropriate connection in the gateway I've got the following error:

F1.PNG

Then I figured out that I should check the SSO option in the advanced settings of the gateway:

SSO.PNG

Then the first error disappeared and this error occured:

F2.PNG

Now, I have no idea what the problem could be. What should check next?

Fun fact: If I recreate exactly the same report with data Import instead of DirectQuery. There is no issue in Power Bi Service and everything works fine.

Actually, unchecking SSO has changed nothing.

BUT

Unchecking "Skip Test Connection" has appeared an connection setting issue although the status of the data connection was "Connection Successfull". After unchecking the skip-option I was able to fix the issue and it works fine.

@Anonymous : Uncheck  "Use SSO via Kerberos for Direct Queries..." and try again.
