I have:
1. A Report
2. Multiple XLXS files upon which the report was built. These will be renewed periodically in order to update the report content.
I want to publish the report, but I want to locate the files in some form of centralized, non-local storage to which the Service will have access when the report is published. This will mean I think editing the source of the queries to point to the files in the centralized non-local storage. (The consultant that created the report created them with the files in c:\users\consultantname\foo).
What is the best solution for doing this? Everything I have tried seems to be a good solution when STARTING A NEW REPORT... not where the files exist.
Out use case is simple. Files are being dropped from a source system. Users need to put them somewhere and we will want to refresh the report periodically based on the new files. We will automate moving the data at a later time.
We have O365. Sharepoint and Data Lake are options. Just need to get on the right track. Appreciate any help you can lend.

Hi @woofy ,
Do you mean that you want to change the data sources after reports have been created?
If so, you can refer to this video: How to change Data source setting in Power bi.

Icey
