Hi,
I've recently started using Power BI and still getting to grips with it and trying to get some better and live reports from our finance system Pegasus Opera 3, which I've managed to export directly into MS Access by adding a data source in Windows. However, I am unable to the same for Power BI.
Is there a way to link Power BI to .dbf file types?
Regards
Hi mohammedusman,
Apologize to say that currently Power BI doesn't support .dbf file.
There is already an idea submitted on this topic:
To workaround this, we could first import the data from .dbf file into Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel, then save it into the other file type, such as Access database type or Excel worksheets, then user Power BI to import the data from the converted file.

Are there any plans to have foxpro databases supported in Power BI?
bump
I am looking to connect to an accounting suite called Pegasus Opera 3 which is a FoxPro database. Is there a connector or method to access the datab ase. I undertand it to be a .bdf file.
Any luck anyone?
