I am trying to import the data from sharepoint folder (which is 29M rows csv file of 25 GB data). It loads fine for around 13M rows, after that it gives me below error:
"OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.."
How can i resolve this issue?
Hello guys, I recently encountered this error when I pulled data from Business Central and finally solved it so I want to share my solution for your reference.
I thought this error was caused by my data source at first. However, I was inspired by Jessica Wang's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVY1GkiYs-U and one reply in forum https://community.dynamics.com/forums/thread/details/?threadid=b6a8ffea-aaf1-4ece-a11e-1ecd8fa177ba
I converted the data type of whole numbers to text and then Power BI allows me to expand the merged tables, which is really simple and amazing. Hope this helps.
You will definitely have issues loading 25GB of data from a SharePoint folder with Power BI. I would suggest loading the data into something designed to hold large data tables such as SQL.
Hello @Anonymous,

Hi, still facing the same issue after trying those steps. I am wondering is there any limit issues with uploading the large file from sharepoint folder?
