Hello Experts,
While creating ODBC connection to snowflake DB , I am getting below error:
CURLerror (curl_easy_perform() failed) - code=6 msg='Couldn't resolve host name' osCode=2 osMsg='No such file or directory'.
Is it possible to connect snowflake DB via ODBC connertor available in Power BI Desktop?
Reason to connect snowflake DB via ODBC is that I want an option to write SQL statement which is not directly available in Snowflake connector.
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

Hi @v-xicai
Thank you for the response.
I found workaround to write Custom SQL against Snowflake Database by creating ODBC connection.
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous ,
Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
Best Regards,
