I'm trying to put a the date in the slicer while using direct query. I was hoping to be able to use the 'between' option rather than just list or dropdown. Is this not possible to do with direct query? It's working when I import the data, but it's not working using direct query.

I just ran a test using DirectQuery and the moment I brought a date field into a slicer it defaulted to the Between type.
What version of Power BI are you running? I am running August 2018.
