Not able to change date format in Excel

Hello,

 

I have linked my Power BI date into Excel, but the date format is in text and am not able to change it. Please help:(

HI @Kannan4444,

Did you mean to import data from excel workbook or getting data from excel file then design report? Can you please share some more detail information about this issue? They should help us clarify your scenario and test.

BTW, have you tried to convert the field to date type in query editor?

am importing data into Excel using "Insert>Pivot table>Power BI"  from the Power BI source data.

BTW, have you tried to convert the field to date type in query editor? - Power BI, i have in the format i wanted, am not able to change in the Pivot table in excel after importing.
