Hello,
I'm curious if it is possible to increase the default amount of options that available for selection that appears when using a drop down slicer. I'm aiming for something that resembles this in Excel but for a drop down slicer in Power BI:
Any suggestions is much appreciated.

Ah, OK, I understand now. Unfortunately, no, I don't think there is a way to get more items to show up for a drop-down slicer like that. The alternative is to use a Vertical List layout, but I suspect that page real estate is an issue.

>>I am hoping to have more options appear than the default value.<<
What do you mean by "the default value"? As I understand it, you cannot define a default value for a slicer.
Also, are you working with a Report Page, or a DASHBOARD?
Can you show some screenshots with data blurred out for privacy resaons?

Thank you for responding. Here is a blurred image. As can be seen 9 automatically appears that can be selected before scrolling. What I hoping to do is expand that number to greater than 9 before the user has to scroll

This is for a dashboard
The slicer will simply read the DISTINCT values from the field you assign it. Your picture shows 8 values in the slicer, and I assume that more is available via the vertical slider.
Not sure of the problem you are trying to solve.

The actual data is not date data and a requirement is to use a drop down slicer
Thank you for your response. The image I included is dummy data. I'm not allowed to share exact data due to company policy. The problem I'm trying to solve is with the drop down in the current dashboard. I am hoping to have more options appear than the default value.
A slicer like you show is just another 'visual' on the page, and as such, can have its own visual level filters applied. Would it suffice if you filtered the available values to be only the years you want?

Thank you for your response. In this case I'm seeking to increase the amount of values that appears when an end user selects the drop down. For example. Instead of 3 I would want 15-20.
