Multiple Semantic model import issue (second models fetch as direct query )

Hi All,

I am working on semantic model and when we import more then one sematic model in power bi desktop it fetch as direct query 
and i am using field parameters which is not working properly because of direct query mode why it so ,
how to resolve same .

    Hi Bhumika9 ,

     

    You mean that your data source is a semantic model and is currently in direct connect mode, right? According to the documentation, it is not possible to create parameters in a live connected data source. However, if you use DirectQuery with Power BI Semantic Model and Analysis Services, you can add a local model to create field parameters. See the status bar in the lower right corner of Power BI Desktop. Please select "Make changes to this model" in the status bar. Then add a local model to create the field parameters.
