Modeling Row Level Security

Hi there,

I modeled a dashboard with dynamic row level security based on a scenarios table. For instance email 1 sees departament A and B, email 2 sees B and C and so on.

The issue is that in some visuals they need to actually see some rows that were not in the beginning, and with the complexity of the model its not possible to just add scenarios.

What I am doing sometimes is to just duplicate some tables  that do not have row level security. 

Wouldnt be more flexible to do some calculated columns with DAX code, if email IN { email 1, } and Dep1 then yes instead of using the RLS functionality. And then apply to visuals this filter if needed.

Anyone had this problem before? How did you proceed? The user wanted RLS but then only part and this becomes a mess 🙂
