Mismatch in Unique count - Direct Query

Hi,

My dashboard is built using Direct Query. The tables that are being referenced are at a granular level (eg. employee_id) , and the aggregation is done on the report using "Unique Count" i.e. count(distinct)

However, the counts displayed on dashboard don't match the count in the table that is being referenced

 Any ideas? Known Bugs?

Thanks,

Sneha

HI, @snehajayakesh

The result need some time to “Refresh the cache”, please wait some time or you could refresh dataset manually.

Best Regards,

Hi Lin,

I believe caching won't be valid for Power BI Desktop.

Visuals where I am aggregating data on report are meant to display count(distinct), however, it simply 'counts'. Any help is highly appreciated.

Visuals used: Stacked Bar, Map, Card (no custom visual)

Thanks,

Sneha
