Migrating/importing a PBI model into a SSAS 2019 Tabular project

Hi,

I need to migrate or import a PBI model, created for a PoC, into a SSAS 2019 Tabular project.

Is it possible to accomplish a such task? If so, how?

HI @Anonymous,

AFAIK, power bi data model is based on AS tabular instance. (power bi desktop does not support migrate operations)

In my opinion, I'd like to suggest you check the below blog to use excel or SSMS to link to the data model. Then you can simply do migrate operation between two data sources.

@Anonymous , check if you can export it into a format using the tabular editor or DAX studio, which can be imported in SSAS.
