Memory error: Memory Allocation failure.

Hi,

I am trying to import data into Power BI but getting the following error:

"Memory error: Memory Allocation Failure: Not enough storage is available to process this command"

#rows = ~27MM

#Columns = 101

Per my understanding, PBI Desktop supports 2bn rows and 16,000 columns.

Can you please help me get this issue rectified? This is a high priority project and I am stuck with this.

Thanks,

GG

hi, @gauravna1

You may try to remove some unnecessary column in Edit Queries before import it in the date model.

Power BI support 2bn rows and 16,000 columns, but it is also limited by machine performance. you may need to increase the amount of memory available on the machine.

Best Regards,

Lin
