Hi all
I am having this problem with PowerBI where whenever i change the formula for a measure, it defaults it's number format back to "General". I had changed it to 'Custom' (specifically "#,##0") but every time I make a tweak to the measure the format is lost!
Anyone else have the same issue, or a solution?
Thanks!
Peter

Hi @petesuen
After my research , I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now .when you add a new measure ,you need to change the
Format of it individually, and it will not inherit the format of parent measure.
For your requirement , you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner .

Thank you for your confirmation!
I'll have to test that. Perhaps try the formatting technique here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/Chelsie-Eiden-s-Duration/td-p/793639
You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
