Maximum Memory we can update under Data cache management Options.

Hi Experts,

For the above image attached, by default the data cache Management memory is 4096 and my concern is what is the maximum number we can give, is it fine if I give 16000? Looking forward for your reply.

    Heena_9980400 Several steps you could follow to reduce data in the report.

    1. Try to remove the column which is not required in the report.
    2. Try to add the required filter before load.
    3. Please check the relationship if there is any many to many relationship.
    4. Convert custom column to measures (if possible)

    Hi Heena_9980400 ,

     

    Could you please let us know the reason for extending it?

    Since this option is only for the caches the data when you are using PBI in the Query Editor.

    Basically it caches the data generally first 100 rows so that it does not have to load all the data when user still in the Query Editor.
