I have a matrix that is refreshed on a monthly basis and it will always have 12 months worth of data. I have a slicer tied to this matrix and would like the default selection to always be the most recent date. Data is currently in YYYYMM format. I would assume selecting a max value would still align with what I am lookkng for but haven't been able to find a resolution or workaround as of yet. Should I create a rank and then tie that to the slicer somehow?
Any help is very much appreciated!

I have the slicer as a drop down instead of relative date slicer as it makes it easier for the end user to select an individual month that they would like to examine. I have used that methodology in other aspects of the report but it doesn't make sense to use that type of slicer in this scenario. Thank you for the quick response!
