I am using a csv file as data source and would like to mask few columns. Could you please help me with the steps.

If you will publish the report to Service, I think you could hide the columns after creating visuals. However, in this way, the columns just hide in report view. We can still view the data in data view.
If you don't want someone to view your data, you could try to set Row-Level security(RLS).
If the ways can't help you, maybe you need to vote up the idea to get the feature fixed.

@Tahreem24 Removing columns will remove the visualisations I created on those columns. I just want to mask the data but not remove them.
