Hi, I just created a project and the map and filled map visuals are disabled. I am using our corporate email.
According to the prompt "To fix this, ask your tenant admin to enable map and filled map visuals in the admin portal" but upon checking our organization doesn't have an admin account in Power BI. I tried troubleshooting the said issue by following this "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/users/domains-admin-takeover" but I am stuck in step no.4.
It seems that our organization previously added a txt record in our DNS.
Has anyone experienced this kind of issue and how did you access the tenant admin to enable the said settings? Is there also an option to see who the tenant admin is?
Thanks everyone!

Hi, @dancingocean
Regarding how to locate the domain administrator, you can directly access the following link:
Home - Microsoft 365 admin center
If you are an administrator, you will notice corresponding differences in the "Roles" section, for example:
Furthermore, if you are an administrator, such as a global administrator, you can access the Power BI service and modify the following settings in the admin portal:
Please note that this setting may take ten to fifteen minutes to take effect, so your patience is appreciated.

On a side note to the above.
Have you gone into your pbix Options | Global | Security | Maps and Filled maps
Then open a new page in your report and swap back to the map.
I'm assuming if its off at a corporate level this options probably won't appear.

Hi @SamWiseOwl
Yes, I tried this on the Power BI desktop and the issue is still persisting. Thank you for responding!

Thanks for this! I checked for the Global Administrator site and found out that there are multiple accounts and I had been in touched with the users and luckily they have an admin account and were able to change the map and filled map visuals in the Power BI admin tenant settings. This resolved my issue, I'll just request them to add my account as a global administrator as well for further Power BI settings configurations.
Thank you!
