Map Visual Type

Hi folks,

Is there anyone who can advice me what kind of map visual has been used on the picture below?

I saw this visual on the sample file Gartner life expectancy, however i was unable to find which kind of map visual it is. As you can see from the map, if you hover over a country, the map is also able to show filtered options such as gender quite nicely.

I will be glad if you can assist me find out the type of visual.

Hi,  it looks like a shape map with a tooltip enabled.
