Hello,
I have a table visual that i want to make read-only or just use for displaying and disable filtering. Is there a visual that does this or can you make a suggestion on how to workaround my issue?
Issue: I have a table visual that displays 3 columns. Whenever i click on the table visual, it resets the other table views around it back to default or whatever is displayed when the report started. I already disabled the Interactions. I am thinking of converting the table visual to something like a card so that it does not affect other tables when i click on it. But at the same time, i wanted to maintain the table structure visually.
Thanks
Glen

Hi @v-lili6-msft ,
i found the fix from this post https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/disable-selectable-value-from-table/m-p/471707/highlight/fa.... I was able to draw an invisible rectangle on top of my table visual that made the table unclickable. Very clever idea.
Thanks again

Hi @v-lili6-msft ,
For some reason the interactions does not work well for what i was trying to do.
In the link above, when i click on the Account Number on Table 1, table 2 gets filtered by Account Number. And when i click on the Account Number or anywhere on Table 2, Table 1 gets reset to what it was originally. I wanted Table 1 to not reset - i get this behavior when converting Table 2 to a Multi-row card. But i want same behavior as the multi-row card, but wanted the looks of a table.
Thank you
Glen
