MTD Calculation error: A circular dependency was detected: SalesTran[Column], SalesTran[SalesYTD], S

Hi,

Can anyone give me suggestion that why "A circular dependency was detected: SalesTran[Column], SalesTran[SalesYTD], SalesTran[Column]." this error I am getting while calculating MTD?

Function I am using is SalesMTD = CALCULATE(SUM(SalesTran[Amount]),DATESMTD('Calendar'[DateKey].[Date]))

Also I am using YTD = CALCULATE(SUM(SalesTran[Amount]),DATESYTD('Calendar'[DateKey].[Date],"03-31"))

In above function there is a slide variation in total amount. In excel it X and in calculated field it is X+1. I don't what is wrong into this.

It this a measure or a calculated column? In the second case, I would expect you to get this kind of error.
