Question.

Starting with the latest update to Power BI Desktop I keep getting signed out of the Desktop. The Desktop used to hold my login during the day.

Is this a "new feature"?? How do I keep the Desktop logged in??

If you are getting signed out more than once than it means you need to check your internet connection and if connected with VPN.Also check your organization policies whether latest updates are compatible or not 

This looks like Power BI Desktop's authentication behavior.


The shortest solution will be re install  power BI desktop.

Thanx for looking at this. Gets frustrating with the constant login requests.

Been watching my Desktop and it seems that now I have to login every hour or so. Very frustrating when you are involved in something. You go to save everything and you can't as the login has expired. Have to start over.
