Hopefully this is a quick question
I was doing some reading on the limitations and advantages to either a Live Connection or Direct Query
A number of articles noted that with a Live Connection, the modeling tab is not available at all.
I just tried to test this, I used PBI Desktop with a "Live Connection" to a dataset I have in a workspace in the PBI service - And the modelling tab is actually still available.
I was just wondering is this new functionality that was recently introduced? Which means the articles I am reading is out of date?
Or am I misunderstanding something and this was always the case with Live Connections, that the modelling tab was always available?
Thank you

Apparently the modelling view was enabled in the July 2020 feature updates and the articles I was reading was out of date 😞
