Line graph not working with multiple years

Hello,
I have been clueless about how to do basically this graph in power BI.

I have divided the data set to two different years. As a X axis I put: date hierarchy->month (from the 2015 category)
When I input the data from the same year (=same category) everything is fine. The problem is when I input  the values from the different year, the values are all the same for all months and much higher than they actually are.

Here is a screenshot how it looks like.

Could anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?

I have just started with power BI so please bear with me 🙂

soooo I figured it out.
When you compare the same data you actually have to use measures in the table to compare them.

This video shows it nicely.

Hi @ssstaud ,

From the screenshot, it looks like the the column [starttype] and [usertype 2015] from the table 2015, while [usertype 2016] from the table 2016, right?

As the [usertype 2015] display corresponding values for each month but [usertype 2016] display the same value for each month, I guess there isn't any relationship between tables 2015 and 2016 then cause this this issue. Please follow this article to create a relationship between these two tables then test again: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-create-and-manage-relationships

Best Regards,
