Line charts not aligning with other line charts - same time line

Hi everyone

I have an issue with my line 3 line charts not aligning with each other although they all use the same timeline. Any idea why this could happen?

As shown below, I've added yellow grid lines (to the dates) just to emphasise that they dont align. I've also added a solid line to emphasie this as well.

The graphs are almost the same size and the data for each graph starts at roughly the same point, even if they don't it can be seen that the second set of yellow gridlines are closer to each other than the first set of grid lines - please help.

Kind regards

Hi Jimmy

Thanks for your response. I have checked that the timeline column is continuous and that all three datasets can be plotted together. Luckily I have found the answer to my problem - In the respective datasets I have filters placed (only show values above zero).

The different datasets obviously have different amounts of zero values. Since the visualisations plot a fixed number of data points, they either start later or end earlier than the requested timeline, for instance, they will start at 9 AM or 3PM rather than 12AM of the requested day. And the start and end times will be different on different graphs because they have different amount fo "zero" values (or filtered values).

Thanks again.

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh_G,

Based on your description, the three charts are using same timeline column, right? For troubleshooting, please use the 3 value columns as Y-axis and date column as X-axis in the same chart and then check again.  In addtion, please also check if the timeline column in your data is continuous?
