I am facing an issue of showing data of all months even if there is no or zero data. I know the option of 'show items with no data' but that show all data without considering the filter context. I need to show all data for selected time period only. Do you guys have any idea?

First thing I would try is ensure your X-axis is set to "Continuous" and not "Categorical".
