Hi guys,
I am new to BI so your help will be appreciated.
I am trying to create a line/ or scatter chart to show, the finish date of a task against a program revision (Tap R). But every time I try, BI counts the date values.
I created it in excel as shown in the pic. I also added a data screenshot.
Please note: Tap R values are repeating - the idea behind is, to filter for each task. Like I have filtered for one of the Tasks i.e. MTE
I have already created this via downloading additional visuals as you can see on BI screen shot - Finish date vs Tap. Problem with this visual is, its restricts formating...

Hi, @ozman750
Do you mean that you want to present the dates (finish date) on the Y axis?
It's hard to do with Power BI native visual. You can refer to this thread to create a R visual.

Thanks guys for your help.
Hi @ozman750 ,
If you are open to custom visuals, you may try https://pbivizedit.com
It should be possible to put dates on Y Axis for a line chart in visuals developed in that service.
Thanks,
Radhey
