Hello together,
my SQL is:
select Tab2.Comment
from Tab1
leftjoin Tab2 ON (Tab1.ID = Tab2.ID )
As we use the direct query so a merge in Table is not possible. We need this join as a messure because in the Datamodel the connection allways filter only ID with comments. But the IDs without comments are filltered out.

hi @Anonymous
In power bi, for your case, you just need to create a relationship between two tables by ID column, then use slicer to filter visual.

Hi @Anonymous ,
You should be able use use left outer join when merging in Query Editor. It is a drop down under "Join Kind" when you open the merge queries window.
If however you wanted a DAX, you can use the following:
LOOKUPVALUE('Tab2'[comments],'Tab2'[id],SELECTEDVALUE(Tab1[id]))
However, this will still require that there is a relationship between the two tables on the id. Again this would return null for whenever there is no match.
I hope this helps!
Thanks!
