I have a large Excel spreadsheet that has the columns sorted/laid out in a particular way.
When I import that spreadsheet the Fields are sorted by Alphabetical name.
Is there a way to prevent this Alphabetical sorting when spreadsheets are brought into PowerBI?
I want to avoid having to append my Column names with an Index prefix.
As far as I know there isn't a way to change this. (Maybe an idea for the next update?) Your idea of adding an index to the front should work though. I have done the same on occasion.
If this is something you'd like to see, post in the Ideas forum so others can vote on it.
