Issues in linking internal network drive path to button (Action-Web URL)

The goal is that you click on a button and it takes you to the drive folder link.

Therefore, I'm trying to add  my internal netwrok path on a button and I have selected Web URL as action.  Here is a link format --file:///\\abc\xyz\

I have already tried a lot of different types of Path formats already, none of these formats worked for me.

I'm wondering if MS- Power bi even  supports hyperlinks to our internal files or folders .

Please provide me with a solution on how to add an internal network drive link to a button action.

Thank you @PhilipTreacy , your ideas is so great !

Hi, @maaz_Khan

As the super user said, the Web URL feature in the default button in Power BI supports filling in a URL. When we fill in the network drive address, click the button, nothing happens. When I fill in a website address, I can jump to the browser to open the web page normally:

If you want to use this feature with your files, here's a viable alternative:
Store your files on your company's network disk or other cloud storage, using the web URL provided by the cloud storage. Clicking the button will automatically open the browser and jump to the corresponding cloud storage web page, showing your folder.

Hi  @maaz_Khan

I don't believe linking to file:/// locations is supported.
