Issue with Bookmark Buttons - Deselecting and Synchronizing States

Hello,

I'm facing an issue with managing bookmark buttons in Power BI. I have two bookmark buttons, which I'll refer to as Button X and Button Y.

  • Button X is used to toggle bookmarks related to "Quarter" and "Year".
  • Button Y is another bookmark button related to "Quarter" and "Year", with different bookmarks.

Here is the problem I am experiencing:

  1. When I click on Button X, I want Button Y to reset to its default state and not retain any previous selection.
  2. I am using the "Clear all filters" option to reset all filters, but when I click Button X and then Button Y, the last selected option in Button Y remains selected, even though it should be deselected.
  3. My goal is for Button Y to have a fixed selection state when opened by Button X, ensuring that Button Y's state is reset each time Button X is activated.

I have ensured that the deselect options for both Button X and Button Y are enabled.

Question: How can I ensure that Button Y is properly deselected and reset to its default state whenever Button X is clicked? Is there a way to synchronize the bookmark states or enforce a reset of Button Y when Button X is activated?

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi @huseyincenik_28

When you say "Clear all filters" is it the browser option:

Or the button? If the button this only does slicers and not interactions:

When creating the bookmarks are you choosing "All visuals" or "Selected visuals":
