Issue in Incremental Refresh with Databricks Time Travel queries (Views) in Power BI

Hi Everyone,

 

Currently we are working on Databricks time travel queries (Views) in Power BI.

 

Using these time travel queries (Views) we have imeplemented Incremental Refresh in Power BI Desktop. We have developed report in import mode, Once we publish the report with Incremental Refresh in Power BI Service. Schedule Refresh isn't working., Data isn't matching with the Databricks and Power BI Service.

 

Please help us to resolve this issue by providing your solutions/suggestions.

    Please try below steps:

    1. Query Folding with Databricks Time Travel Queries: The first area to investigate is whether your time travel queries support query folding. Query folding is crucial for Incremental Refresh to work efficiently. If the queries do not support query folding, this could lead to discrepancies issues. 

     

    2.Data Source Configuration in Power BI Service: After publishing to Power BI Service, ensure that the data source configuration for Databricks is correctly set up to support the Incremental Refresh. This includes verifying that the credentials are correctly configured.

     

    3. Reviewing Incremental Refresh Policies: Double-check your Incremental Refresh policies in Power BI Desktop before publishing. Ensure that the date/time range configurations align with the expected data updates from Databricks. Misconfiguration here could lead to data mismatches.
