Is there any ways to convert PBIT into PBIX automatically, other than by opening PBI Desktop?

Hi @v-cherch-msft  , @ronniekapoor ,

I can see that the Tabular Editor is fairly powerful. I can see that there is a command line option too.

Please can somebody confirm the following:

1. Can the Tabular editor work on PBIT file or just Analysis Service BIM model files?
2. Can the Tabular editor convert a PBIT to PBIX via command line , which opens the possibility of uploading the PBIX to Power BI Service?

It seems there's no better way to achieve that.You may vote this similar idea which has been submitted and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
