I wanted to change it only for D not A,B and C, A,B,C,D are row headers in matrix

Ah, I misunderstood originally. I see now that you have a drilled down matrix with stepped layout turned off. I did some cursory research on your question and while I found a solution for the default matrix set up, I don't see that it's possible with the settings you have in your matrix.
(If somebody out there does have a solution, more than happy to learn from them too!)
