Invalid dataset. This API can only be called on a Model-based dataset
I am using an API to refresh my semantic model and I am getting this error :
Invalid dataset. This API can only be called on a Model-based datasetI get this error when my API call is triggered.
It is either you are using DQ or Live connection.
The dataset refresh API doesn't support DirectQuery mode dataset (or Live Connection) because the reports in DQ mode gets the latest data everytime you want to query it, so no need for a refresh.
