Inner Join

Hey guys,

I have a simple question regarding an Inner join with DAX.  I am trying to replicate something that I have done in Python.

new_df = pd.merge(tableA[["ID"]],tableB, how = 'inner', on = 'ID)

new_df = new_df[new_df["Date"] >= '2018-05-31']

total_sum = new_df["Price"].sum()

I want to inner join 2 tables on a unique key,filter it by a certain date and then take the sum of the prices.

Ideally, I would like a dataframe with the "new_df" and then I would seperately calculate the "total_sum" with a DAX function.

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

It looks that you just have to have a relationship between Table A and Table B on ID, as long as one of them is a Dim table (as you don't provide a sample data).

Hope it helps.
