It's probably been within the last 6 months or so that I noticed PBI desktop taking a longer than usual amount of time to complete refreshes on an individual table - I ran a full refresh in desktop, but then I fixed one of me dimensions and am just reloading 1 table with 17k rows. Once the load looked complete, PBI just hangs there, probably calculating some dependencies. Normally this take a minute or so, now it's taking forever. I also noticed that when selecting filter options there is a significant delay in the check boxes populating. Did something change that would cause issues in desktop? Has anyone else noticed this?
@Anonymous , Try if some of these can help
I haven't noticed anything myself but there are so many variables involved. Have you tried to use the performance analyser to see what might be happening? What is the source of the data?
