Hello,
I have build a dashboard based on four datafiles. These datafiles are automatically merged and then uploaded in Power BI.
2 files are offline sales containing 12 columns in the same order. The other two files are online sales which have 11 columns in similar order. The missing column in the online sales data is an identification number for each product (GTIN)
Even though there is one column less in the online sales files it is no problem for power bi to merge these files. There were just no entries for the GTIN column for rows from the online sales files.
After merging I do a lot of further steps such as replacing values and so on.
Now I wanted to update the dashboard with new data. So I have overwritten the current 4 files which were placed on a sharepoint with the newest files and startet the updating process in power bi. Now power bi returns an error saying there is no GTIN column available. this leads power bi to not further process any other step. The newest files are the same as the ones on which I have based the dashboard on just with more up to date data.
Does anyone know why power bi is suddenly returning the error (No 'GTIN' column available in the table) even though the structure of each file (2 offline sales files with 12 columns and 2 online sales files with 11 columns) has not changed?

@dats , Right click on the table in data view and refresh them one by one and check which refresh gives the issue.
Open power query and check if there is a detailed error. If yes share that
