Incremental refresh once a month on a certain field

Hi,

I'm in the process of creating a new report with data that I get from our Online Service. The whole dataset it set on a incremental refresh at multiple times during the day

In that dataset there is Forecast Data (What we expect to be coming into our accounts at the end of the month). The issue is that the figure changes depending on how much product has sold. The end goal is that we want to compare the forecast at the start of the month to the total income at the end of the month.

In order to do this I need to set some parameters that makes sure the daily incremental refresh doesn't apply to certain fields, and have them refreshed once a month at the start of every month

Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how?

I am using Power BI Pro

Cheers,
Mike

@michael_knight you should split your data into two tables and then you can decide on which table you want an incremental refresh and keep another one without incremental refresh, or different incremental refresh policy

That's a good idea @parry2k

Do you know how I would do that within the data?

This is what I currently do on the Power BI Service
