Running the Feb 2025 release of desktop and I noticed there is a Update Available indication in the lower right corner.
Clicking this opens a browser to the Jan 2025 Power Bi Updates Blog page.
I can fine no mention of an update newer than the Version: 2.140.1078.0 64-bit (February 2025) I am currently running.
I do not know why desktop is telling me there is an updated version.
Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks,
Chuck

Hello @ChuckS ,
The February 2025 release (version 2.140.1078.0) is the most up-to-date version of Power BI Desktop. However, users may occasionally encounter an "Update Available" notification due to cached information or glitches, even when there isn't a newer version.
Try these steps to Troubleshoot
Reinstall Power BI Desktop: If the update notification continues to appear, uninstalling and reinstalling Power BI Desktop can help clear any cached or conflicting update data.
Check for Updates Manually: Navigate to the "Help" menu within Power BI Desktop and select "Check for Updates" to confirm there are no pending updates.
Restart the Application: A quick restart might resolve the notification issue.
For further details on updates, refer to the official Microsoft documentation: What's new in the latest Power BI update - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.
Thanks

Did a reinstall of the Feb version and that cleared the issue.
Thanks,
