Inactive relationships

I have several different data tables that all work independently of each other. 

I need each table use 1 date. So i have created a date table and make relationships between the date tables with a date and the data table, and now the date table works perfectly. 

I now need to add another slicer for project, but it wont allow me to do so as it is an inactive relationship. 

I have tired to make a User Relationship, but it doesn't work.

On top of that, 1 of the tables I am able to establish a connection with, but the others just remain inactive

As can be seen in the picture, Notices has the 2 active relationships and works just fine with Project lookup acting as a slicer, but the Power BI late notices wont allow a relaitonship and therefore I can use the same slicer for the data tables on the same tab

PLEASE HELP!!!!! How do i fix this, or what can I do?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Power BI allows the use of inactive relationships through specific DAX functions.

If two tables are linked by more than one relationship, you can use USERELATIONSHIP to determine which relationship to activate.

You can try:

CALCULATE([Measure], USERELATIONSHIP(Table1[Column], Table2[Column]))

Use this measure with the slicer in the visual object.
