Hi,
I'm new to power BI and have just imported my first data set to experiment with. It a small excel spread sheet with just a few rows with data in. Power BI has imported 1048507 blank rows. Is there any way I can import just rows/columns with data in or do I have to import the whole spreadsheet and then remove the blanks ? Seems like the long way round of doing it ?
Thanks very much, Rosanna

Hi @Rosanna24310 ,
If your workbook has simple worksheets with ranges of data, be sure to format those ranges as tables to get the most out of your data in Power BI. When you create reports in Power BI, the named tables and columns in the Fields pane make it much easier to visualize your data.
