I want to set up an if statement where if a certain field is 2 it displays the same value as what is in a particular column, if not 3 i will use the switch statement to show the relevant text for each number. The key to this question is an if statement with a result of a column not a statement. Thank you.

As new column
if([Column2]=2, [column2], [Column3])
If this does not help
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
