New Column =IF(RELATED(Table A[Grp]="Hello","ABC","EFG" )
How can I write this calculated column formula to have multiple options for the TableA Grp? For example if "Hello" "Hi" "Hey" are in the Table A[Grp] then it should be "ABC" otherwise "EFG"
Thank you both solutions worked great
Hey @powerbihelp87 ,
I would use the SWITCH/TRUE combination and check the condition with IN:
New Column =
SWITCH(
TRUE(),
RELATED( 'Table A'[Grp] ) IN
{
"Hello",
"Hi",
"Hey"
}, "ABC",
"EFG"
)
Hi @powerbihelp87 ,
Try a column like this:
New Column =IF(RELATED(Table A[Grp]) in {"Hello","Hi","Hey"},"ABC","EFG" )
Please accept this as a solution if your question has been answered !!
Appreciate a Kudos 😀
Hi @powerbihelp87 ,
I did a test, the reference is as follows:
Column = IF('Table'[Grp] in { "Hello","Hi","Hey"} ,"ABC","EFG")
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry
