In excel, I am able to create a conitional statment base on other cell.
For example,
=IF($E$1="Statutory",AG2,AF2)
And cell E1 is either Statutory or not.
I wonder if Power BI has similar functionality.

"If" is there but it is column-based, calculation happen at row level. For across row calculation you need to use lookup, earlier etc.
