IBM DB2 Connection Issue

I am trying to connect to an IBM DB2 Database.  I have downloaded the CData trial and have no problems.  The database is in the cloud.

So when I make my connection in PowerBI using the Microsoft IBM DB2 connector I get the following error:  Microsoft Db2 Client: Have not received expected codepoint: EUSRIDNWPWD. SQLSTATE=HY000 SQLCODE=-1040,

When I use the IBM DB2 connector I connect and see all the schemas but not all the tables within a given schema.  Even though in CData I do see tables within all the schemas.  Again, no problems with CData.

The only issue I can think of right now is in the CData connector I apply a Certificate.  If that is indeed the issue how can I test this out in PowerBI as I do not see a SSL Certificate option like I do in the CData or Tableau for that matter.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Razorbx13 ,

Please check the IBM driver. The IBM Db2 database connector uses the Microsoft driver to connect to your data. Each driver has its limitations.

Please refer to the following documents.

Power Query IBM Db2 database connector - Power Query | Microsoft Learn

Validating IBM Data Server Driver Package (Windows) installation - IBM Documentation
