Hello,
I have two tables.
Dimensions 1:* Fact
Because fact table contains multiple millions rows, I'd like to use direct querry and partition based on date column. Is there any option to use sql in direct query mode with snowflake data source? I've read that this fueature should have been introduced in the beginning 2021 (https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2020/10/18/build-scalable-bi-solutions-using-power-bi-and-snowflake/).
Thanks!

Hey @Dom87326 ,
you can use direct query with snowflake:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connect-snowflake
Just try it and let us know if it works.
Best regards
Denis
Hello @selimovd ,
Thanks for you input, but it's actually 330M rows. Regarding snowflake, I really want to know whether advanced options, SQL query window exists in direct query? This is something we have with odbc as data source for example.

Hey @Dom87326 ,
how many million rows do you have? If it's just a few million Power BI should be able to handle that. The advantage then is that you have not limitations.
Otherwise you can use DirectQuery with Snowflake:
