Hi,
Our team currently want to test the functionality of the new Copilot feature for our Power BI report before deciding whether to buy the premium PBI account. Since we don't have any sponsorship for this license yet, is there any way we can get access to this feature for Power BI in a trial time ( 1 month for example)?

Hi @Anonymous - Based on the provided screenshot and information,
It's possible that Copilot has not been enabled at the tenant or workspace level. The Power BI admin might have to enable these features for your environment. Here’s what can be done:Go to the Admin Portal in Power BI Service.Navigate to Tenant settings.Look for any settings related to AI, Copilot, or generative AI services and ensure they are toggled on.
please check the locations that copilot is enabled globallly.

If your workspace and licensing are configured correctly and the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft support. You can also check with Microsoft Support for any ongoing issues related to Copilot access.
Hope this information and above shared details helps.

Hi @Anonymous -Currently, the Copilot feature for Power BI is a premium feature, which means you cannot use it for free without registering for a Premium Per User (PPU) or Premium Capacity account. However, you can explore it without paying by using the Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) free trial.
If you're looking for Copilot for Microsoft 365 features (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), you may be eligible for a trial via your organization's Microsoft 365 admin center. There’s typically a 30-day trial for Microsoft 365 Enterprise subscriptions, which might include access to Copilot in Office apps.
or you can go with Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) Trial:

Hi rajendraongole1,
Thanks for your feedback. I'm currently register with a premium Power BI account, but still unable to use the copilot feature since there is an error related to the workspace configuration. Do you have any idea related to this issue?
Thanks,
Ha
